Amber Trumps (Under Construction)

Click on the thumbnails to see larger images.

These images are for cards used as props in our Amber Diceless roleplaying game. (Since there are no dice, we gamers have to hold onto something!) They represent a deck of Trumps, which are like Tarot cards depicting the characters of the game, except that the characters can use these cards to communicate with one another telepathically. It's great to have actual cards to play with, because their physical presence in the game helps the players keep track of who exactly has given a Trump to whom-- in a game as Machiavellian as Amber, this becomes really important! The only drawback is that if a Trump is destroyed or if you lose your deck (horrors!), the gamemaster gets to keep the cards, alas! For more information about the Trumps, pick up Roger Zelazny's AMBER series at any reputable book store. For more info about Amber Diceless by Eric Wujcik (Phage Press), there's a pretty good description at www.wyrdrune.com/acnw/, the AmberCon Northwest website. If you play Amber Diceless and would like a Trump of your character, I charge twenty-five dollars American per card in advance (PayPal, check, or money order accepted - see Contact page) and require a description of the character. Please also note whether you would like it to be added to this website, along with your credit for Conceptual Designer.
